The configuration options on this page are only accessible to administrators and only apply to organizations with a multi-tenant Nexthink Infinity architecture.
In a multi-tenant architecture, all tenants share the same Nexthink Infinity platform, but the configuration and data remain tenant-specific. As a result, you can create, develop and assign various Adopt guides to the same web application across different Nexthink environments without interferences or overlaps.
This page contains the steps to configure and choose multiple tenants from Nexthink browser extension and open instance-specific guide content in Adopt Editor.
Find below the steps to configure multiple tenants for Nexthink Browser extension.
To configure a new tenant, from Browser > Extensions > Nexthink Browser extension:
Access the Tenants Configuration in Nexthink browser extension.
You should see the Collector tenant listed by default.
Add tenant and fill in the Name and URL fields from the Add tenant pop-up.
Add the URL of your Nexthink instance/environment. For example:https://nexthink.tet.nexthink.saas
The URL should not have a /
slash at the end of the URL—also known as trailing slash.
Make sure you Sign in as an administrator in the installed Nexthink browser extension.
After adding the new tenant, open its action menu to Authenticate—this enables tenant integration with your Nexthink browser extension.
Access tenant-specific guides from Adopt Editor to develop content associated with a particular Nexthink Infinity environment.
To switch tenants and open tenant-specific guides in Adopt Editor, from Browser > Extensions > Nexthink Browser extension:
Choose the Tenant of interest, and select the target web Application.
Click the guide of interest to open Adopt Editor directly on the web application URL.
The Nexthink browser extension only lists existing (unpublished) guides created in the associated Nexthink Infinity environment—defined in the tenant URL.
Refer to the Guide content development from in-app Adopt Editor for more information on creating and editing guide content.
