Guide content development from in-app Adopt Editor
After creating a guide in Nexthink Infinity, and configuring Adoption settings for a specific web application; use the Nexthink browser extension to access Adopt Editor directly on the target web application.
Accessing specific guide in Adopt Editor
To access specific guide:
Authenticate to the the Nexthink environment where the guide was created:
Access the Tenants Configuration page in the Nexthink browser extension and select Authenticate from the action menu.
Alternatively, to authenticate to the default Nexthink tenant, right-click on the Nexthink icon on the browser toolbar and select Sign in as admin.

Once authenticated, click on the Nexthink icon from the browser toolbar or select Inspect pop-up window from extension options.
Select the Nexthink Tenant where you have created the guide.
Select the target web Application.
Click the guide of interest to open Adopt Editor directly on the web application URL.

Understanding Adopt Editor
After you select the guide from the browser extension, Adopt Editor opens on the left side of the screen, allowing you to create and manage guide content.
Guide options
The Adopt Editor's in-application interface displays the following options:

Move the Adopt Editor to the right or left side of the page.
Add a new item, depending on the guide type:
Walkthrough step, action or decision
Tooltip step
Media item
Change the guide language to review and override guide content localized by Nexthink—AI generated.
Turn off the Adopt Editor.
Preview the name of your guide.
Guide item options
After you add guide items, see the following options:

Move the item up or down to rearrange the order.
Access the item properties to configure its details.
Remove the step or make it optional.
Select multiple steps at once to configure position properties for all your selected steps (only available for Walkthroughs).
Item properties
Select the gear icon to access the step or media item's properties. Depending on the guide type, different properties are available. Media items include only the Content tab, whereas Tooltips and Walkthrough steps provide interactive options across all four tabs: Content, Appearance, Position, and Display or Triggers.
