Configuration guide

To effectively use this library pack, the content must be installed and configured appropriately. Below are some suggested steps to install and configure the content properly before use.

Step 1) Install library pack content

Go to the Nexthink Library and install all required content.

Step 2) Configure remote actions

Navigate to the manage remote action administration page to review and edit your remote actions.

We recommend the following configurations for these remote actions:

Step 3) Configure the campaign

This library pack contains one Engage campaign, "Adobe software usage assessment." This campaign asks users if they are using advanced features of the Pro version or if they want to downgrade to Standard.

This campaign should be modified before use to ensure that it matches corporate communication guidelines. Navigate to the manage campaigns administration page to review and edit this campaign.

Please ensure to:

  • Customize the sender name and image.

  • Review and adjust questions.

  • Publish the campaign when you are ready to use it.

Step 4) Configure software metering rule

Please note that this library pack requires manual configuration of the software metering rule for the Adobe Acrobat application. This software metering rule is necessary to provide you with visibility of Adobe Acrobat desktop focus time over the extended period of the past 90 days.

Navigate to the manage software metering rules administration page to review and create this software metering rule with the following settings:
