Driver compliance
Driver compliance monitoring helps you track and update drivers across HP, Dell, and Lenovo devices.
It integrates with HP Image Assistant, Dell Update Package, and Lenovo Thin Installer Utility to detect missing drivers, firmware, and BIOS updates. You can trigger updates remotely to reduce service desk incidents and improve device performance.
Problem
You lack visibility into device driver compliance. Without updates, devices face security, compatibility, and performance issues.
These issues often lead to service desk tickets. Many could be avoided if drivers were up to date.
Solution
This solution contains three dedicated dashboards that show the number of pending critical and recommended driver, firmware, and BIOS updates for Dell, HP, and/or Lenovo devices.
This information is retrieved using HP Image Assistant, Dell Update Package, and Lenovo Thin Installer Utility to check for pending updates.
If these tools are missing, Nexthink automatically installs them. You can then use a remote action to update drivers at scale.
Benefits and outcome
By implementing the "Driver compliance monitoring" solution, you:
Gain visibility into required driver, firmware, and BIOS updates.
Automate updates through remote actions.
Segment data by model, type, and structure.
Reduce incidents from outdated drivers.
Prevent performance issues caused by non-compliance.
