# Binary overview

## Overview

The **Binary overview** dashboard provides a quick and consolidated view of how binaries and applications impact devices across your organization, eliminating the need for Application configuration. It simplifies the evaluation of performance, stability, and connectivity metrics.

Using intuitive filters, you can analyze binaries, applications, devices, or business areas while accessing key metrics such as binary details (versions, product category, graphical interface), performance indicators (CPU and memory usage), and stability metrics (crashes and freezes).

This tool is designed to efficiently investigate high-impact binaries or applications and understand their effects on your organization's devices.

### **Problem** <a href="#problem" id="problem"></a>

Assessing application impact on devices is crucial. While effective, current tools require defining apps, installing packs, or using multiple dashboards, often making them disjointed.

Multiple applications may make the device view more complex, impacting overall visibility. Once an application is defined, there is a processing period before data becomes available, making assessing smaller applications' impact more difficult when predefined configurations are not required.

### **Solution** <a href="#solution" id="solution"></a>

Provide a dashboard that allows customers to use filters to select a specific product and/or binary to understand its impact on devices. This eliminates the need to define the application in Application Experience and enables analysis across stability, performance, and connectivity metrics.

### Benefits and outcome <a href="#benefits-and-outcome" id="benefits-and-outcome"></a>

Gain complete visibility into the usage of any product binary on devices across the organization without configuring it as a desktop application.

* **Streamlined troubleshooting:** Accelerate issue resolution with a unified view of binary and application impacts.
* **Faster time to resolution:** Quickly identify performance, stability, and connectivity issues using intuitive filters to focus on specific binaries, devices, or business areas to diagnose and resolve issues across devices efficiently.
* **Optimize operational efficiency:** Proactively identify and address high-impact applications or binaries affecting critical business areas to maintain seamless operations.
* **Version and usage insights:** Understand product usage, version dispersion, and the most affected versions, ensuring better decision-making and targeted support.
