Understand the impact of alerts
Reduce your time to resolution by focusing on the issues that matter the most. Consult a GenAI-powered contextual explanation of what the real impact of a given alert might be for your employees and your digital workplace. Refer to the Alerts overview documentation for more information.
Alert proactively on device-level issues
Reduce your time to resolution by proactively identifying device-level issues impacting your DEX environment. Our new auto-installed monitors leverage platform-configurable metric ratings, such as CPU usage and boot duration, to detect when performance is considered poor and impact is seen across many of your devices. Refer to the Managing Alerts documentation for more information.
Device site configuration for rule-based locations
See where devices are with greater precision with new rule-based location configuration. Define the location of devices using rules based on properties such as local IP address, public IP address, or name. In addition to location type (onsite/remote) you can now specify:
Site: free-form string
State and Country: ISO codes
New device.location fields are available in NQL to access the rule-based location of the device (with a fallback to GeoIP location if no matching rule is found). Refer to the Product configuration documentation for more information.

Bar charts for Investigations
Understand and visually interpret the results of your queries more easily. Now you can visualize the investigation results of compatible queries as a bar chart. Refer to the Visual editor and NQL editor documentation for more information.
Repeating actions in workflows
Implement repeat/retry functionality more easily when designing workflows with new repeating actions. Thinklets can now be grouped together into repeating loops that allow adding retry and recheck functions to workflows. Refer to the Creating Workflows - Designer documentation for more information.
This functionality will be made available following the completion of the 2024.8 rollout in all regions.
Flow is subject to an additional license, please contact your Nexthink representative for more information.
Trigger workflows from checklists
Resolve issues more quickly by mapping workflows to checklist properties, allowing agents to trigger them directly from the checklist in Device View and Amplify. Refer to the Device View and Amplify documentation for more information.
Flow and Amplify are subject to an additional license, please contact your Nexthink representative for more information.
Update tickets from workflows in Amplify
Save time checking if a solution was correctly executed, and updating the associated support ticket. Now when a workflow is executed using Amplify from a ServiceNow ticket, the outcome will be recorded back to the ticket from the workflow. Refer to the Updating ServiceNow from Amplify documentation for more information.
Amplify and Flow are subject to additional licenses, please contact your Nexthink representative for more information.
Improved collaboration tool troubleshooting
Identify, correlate, and troubleshoot collaboration experience issues even more easily with several enhancements to Collaboration Experience:
Collaboration applications are shown with collaboration calls in a dedicated section on the device timeline, letting you see the usage and issues while a call is in progress, without having to wait for the call details to be populated from the connectors.
Open the call view dashboard from investigations & dashboards with the actions menu next to the field, or by clicking on the callID in investigations.
Consult screen sharing quality info for Zoom calls in investigations and the call view dashboard.
Refer to the Timeline documentation for more information.
Collaboration Experience is subject to an additional license, please contact your Nexthink representative for more information.
Navigation menu supports smaller screens
Use Nexthink comfortably even on smaller screens, with a redesigned navigation menu that lets you scroll down if there is insufficient room to show all icons. Refer to the Navigating the web interface documentation for more information.
Cloud Collector supports macOS 15 Sequoia
Update your Cloud Collector to version 24.8 for support of the new macOS 15 Sequoia. Refer to the Software requirements documentation for more information.
Data Exporter execution history
Gain greater visibility into usage and resolve issues with data exporters by accessing their execution history in NQL. You can now set up alerts and investigate problems with data exporters directly within the platform using the standard query language. Refer to the Managing data exporters documentation for more information.
