Compatibility matrices

This document provides information about the cross-version compatibility of the main components of the Nexthink platform.

Collector compatibility and support

Nexthink is dedicated to delivering the best user experience by keeping our software up-to-date and secure. To uphold this commitment, we follow a structured product support lifecycle. We support the last three Major versions of Cloud Collectors, each receiving support for at least six months. Bug fixes are exclusively applied to the current Major version.

We recommend staying on the latest Collector version to benefit from the latest features, improvements, and security updates. Read the Collector management documentation for more information about collector deployment and updates.

Browser compatibility

The Nexthink web interface is compatible with the following browsers for versions up to one-year-old:

• Google Chrome

• Microsoft Edge

• Mozilla Firefox

• Apple Safari

Nexthink Finder compatibility (classic)

Nexthink Finder is a Windows-only desktop application whose functionality is now available within the Nexthink web interface. Nexthink can now be used directly from a browser and most functions no longer require an additional desktop application.
