# Mobile Experience

Nexthink Mobile Experience provides a single pane of glass within the Infinity platform for EUC teams to view deep insights into the aspects that impact the mobile user’s experience, beyond the basic inventory and compliance metrics that Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions provide.

The Nexthink Mobile app runs quietly in the background on mobile devices to collect key device metrics such as battery health, network stability, and performance data with minimal resource use. The collected insights are supplemented further with data from UEM solutions and sent to the Nexthink backend for deeper analysis and proactive device management.

Additionally, on corporate-owned iOS and Android devices, Nexthink provides visibility into app connectivity, helping IT teams understand app usage, detect misconfigurations or security risks, and resolve connectivity issues before they impact users.

Nexthink Mobile Experience provides IT with visibility and insights into their mobile estate that they have not had before. This data can empower EUC teams to more efficiently troubleshoot mobile issues, proactively replace degrading mobile devices before they impact worker productivity, identify security risks before they happen, and optimize mobile costs and operations across the entire fleet.

Key capabilities include:

* **Battery Health dashboard**: Provides visibility into how well mobile batteries are performing, helping IT detect high drain, track device risk, and act before issues impact end-users.
* **Bring your own device (BYOD) insights**: When the Nexthink Mobile app cannot be installed on a mobile device, Nexthink Mobile Experience still provides visibility into those devices using our UEM connectors.
* **Customizable Mobile Device Monitoring dashboards**: Nexthink Mobile Experience is a live dashboard within the Infinity platform, enabling organizations to add, enhance, and customize the mobile device metrics and insights most important to them.
* **Device Health dashboard**: Helps IT track memory and storage issues that can slow down performance or cause application instability. Key visualizations include low-memory alerts, memory trend charts, low-storage alerts, and storage trend charts.
* **Governance dashboard**: Provides high-level views of devices running unsupported or outdated OS versions, missing encryption, or non-compliant devices, and devices missing the latest security patches, enabling IT to drill down and update those devices that pose a security risk.
* **Infinity-native mobile app**: Nexthink Mobile is a VPN-less app built natively as part of the Nexthink Infinity platform. It supports both Android and iOS devices and runs in the background with minimal impact on battery life.
* **iOS Application Activity dashboard**: Allows IT teams to understand app connection events on iOS devices, such as which applications are making network calls, how frequently they connect, and which destination domains they reach. This can help IT identify unauthorized apps or connections, improving security posture.
* **Mobile Device Monitoring Overview dashboard**: Provides a high-level understanding of the mobile environment, helping IT identify adoption patterns and compatibility considerations.
* **Network Health dashboard**: Helps IT identify the root causes of connection dropouts, including poor signal strength, network connection issues, roaming or frequent handovers, and VPN instability.
* **Proactive alerting**: Configure custom alerts to notify IT when Nexthink identifies issues or anomalies that could affect mobile users, such as battery, storage, and network problems.
* **Real-time telemetry**: Provides updates to the Infinity platform every 15 minutes, more frequently than UEM solutions, enabling faster detection and resolution of mobile user issues.
* **UEM integration**: Connectors to UEM tools, such as Intune, enrich the data collected from the Nexthink Mobile app with inventory, governance, and hardware data.
