## Desktop Virtualization: IGEL OS 12 Thin Client support

Monitor IGEL OS 12 thin clients alongside Windows and macOS endpoints with a dedicated Nexthink Collector. You can now access hardware and operating system details and track CPU, memory, disk, and graphics usage over time. These insights help you identify whether slow virtual desktop sessions originate from the thin client and make informed hardware refresh decisions.

To start collecting data, install the Nexthink Collector on each IGEL OS 12 device. Import it from the IGEL App Portal and deploy it through IGEL Universal Management Suite profiles. Refer to the [Installing Collector on IGEL OS](/configuring_nexthink/bringing-data-into-your-nexthink-instance/deploying-nexthink-in-non-vdi-environment/installing-collector/collector-for-igel.md) documentation for more information.

Depending on your current licensing model, this capability may require an additional license. Contact your Nexthink representative for more information.

## New Infinity look and feel

Experience a refreshed Nexthink Infinity interface with a modern, consistent design across the platform. The updated look and feel provides a more seamless and unified experience, making it easier to navigate features and interact with Nexthink.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.nexthink.com/whats-new/whats-new-2026.9.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
