# Configuration guide: Infinity transition support

## Overview <a href="#configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-overview" id="configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-overview"></a>

If you have started (or are thinking about starting) your transition to Nexthink Infinity, you need to understand the current usage of platform features that will be deprecated in the future.

The Nexthink Infinity Transition library pack helps Nexthink users transition to Nexthink Infinity by monitoring the current usage of key platform features and understand the progress on new feature adoption.

## Pre-requisites <a href="#configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-pre-requisites" id="configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-pre-requisites"></a>

This pack requires the “Nexthink Infinity Transition” pre-configured application to be installed as part of the pack to collect adoption data for Infinity and Nexthink Experience features.

Note: This pre-configured application includes less than 3 key pages and transactions and can be installed without an [Application Experience](https://nexthink.gitbook.io/opd/overview/products) license.

### Remote actions <a href="#configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-remoteactions" id="configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-remoteactions"></a>

The following remote action is required. It tests devices Infinity connectivity which is a prerequisite for successful transition.

**Get connectivity status to Infinity** - This remote action helps organizations to understand if endpoints are able to successfully resolve and connect to the URL of the customer Nexthink Infinity tenant.

It is recommended to schedule the mentioned remote action on a daily basis for all devices.

### Applications <a href="#configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-applications" id="configurationguide-infinitytransitionsupport-applications"></a>

This pack requires the “Nexthink Infinity Transition” pre-configured application to be installed as part of the pack to collect adoption data for Infinity and Nexthink Experience features.

Once installed, this content will appear in the[ Applications](https://nexthink.gitbook.io/opd/user-guide/applications) module of your Nexthink platform when installed. The URL pattern of your organization needs to be defined for this application before you can make full use of this content.
